You understand that structuring secure methodologies early on is key to success as amounts of data increase. You take security and privacy very seriously and know their value to the business. You are vigilant about identifying security flaws before they become emergencies, and are able to communicate them properly.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead and own all security efforts and initiatives in the company.
  • Build, implement ,and optimize security processes, such as automated security scans, application firewalls, and intrusion.
  • Identify and develop technical solutions to security vulnerabilities
  • Identify, respond to, and document potential security incidents
  • Researching new attack vectors and developing threat models
  • Collaborate with professionals across various teams on incident responses
  • Communicate critical security patches rollouts to the team and help them mitigate any issues that may arise following
  • Perform security assessments and code audits
  • Monitor and administer intrusion detection systems, as well as web application firewall
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD automated security scans
  • Automate internal penetration testing

Qualifications:

  • Experience administering a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Experience configuring and working with Web Application Firewall and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS/IDS)
  • Expert knowledge of OWASP top ten
  • Deep experience with penetration testing tools, ZAP or similar
  • Proficiency with AWS WAF
  • Familiarity with Kibana
  • Experience with linux systems
