Create hyper-targeted account lists for partner marketing

With PartnerTap’s partner account mapping, you can simplify and bring confidence to what is often an imprecise effort: targeted partner marketing campaigns. Using our out-of-the-box reports and partner-relevant filters (partner’s territory, partner’s intent data, etc.) you can quickly build hyper-targeted lists that you and your partners can use for your next co-marketing campaign.
 

  • Use the Mutual Customers report to narrow down a list of mutual accounts that can be targeted for joint upsell or expansion campaigns.
  • Use the Hot Prospect report to narrow down a list of accounts that are your prospects and your partner’s customers so they can target those accounts with ads that introduce your solution.
  • Use the Help Your Partner report to narrow down a list of accounts that are your customers and your partner’s prospects so you can target those accounts with ads that introduce their solution.
  • Use the All Matched Accounts report to select a mix of mutual customers and prospects in a specific location to invite to an upcoming event.

Step-by-step instructions

To build a hyper-targeted account list:

  1. Navigate to the left-hand side menu and click on the “PARTNERS” tab.
  2. On the “CONNECTED PARTNERS” page, find the tile of the partner you want to create a list for and click “VIEW”.
  3. On the “PARTNER DETAILS” page are two ways to open reports:
    1. Click the “VIEW” button on the “MUTUAL CUSTOMERS, “HOT PROSPECTS”, “HELP MY PARTNER” tiles to directly access those reports.
    2. Click the “ACCOUNTS” tab at the top of the page.
  1. On the “ACCOUNTS” tab, you will automatically land on the “ALL MATCHED ACCOUNTS” report.
  2. To access the other reports, navigate to the “REPORT” drop down menu on the top left and select the report you want to open.
  3. Once you have a report open, use the “ADD FILTER” button to narrow down the account list to match the partner campaign criteria (e.g. location, industry, existing products installed, propensity to buy, etc.).
  4. Use the column sorter (three blue rectangles) to move relevant data side-by-side or hide columns.
  5. When you’ve finished refining your list, click the download button (blue arrow pointing down) to export this list to a .CSV file and share it with your marketing team or partner’s marketing team.
  6. If you want to save the filters you’ve applied to this list to create a similar list in the future, click the save button (blue floppy disk). This will save a template of this report that maintains the filters but account data will remain real-time and update as new data is brought into PartnerTap.
    1. To access saved reports navigate to the left-hand side menu and click on the “ECOSYSTEM REPORTS” tab.
    2. Click on the “SAVED REPORTS” sub-tab.
