Step-by-step instructions

There are three ways to connect with your partners:

1. Accept partner invite after joining ParterTap:
   

   If you’ve already joined PartnerTap and a partner sends you an invite to connect, you can accept their invitation by navigating to the “PARTNERS” tab on the left-hand side menu and viewing the “CONNECTED PARTNERS” page.

   A new tile will appear for that partner with an option to “ACCEPT” or “DECLINE” the invitation.

2. Click your partner’s invite link to join PartnerTap:
   

   If your partner sent you an invitation to connect and you are not yet a PartnerTap user, click on the link and it will take you through the signup process.

   You can create your PartnerTap account for free and once you do, you will automatically be connected with this partner on our platform.

   You can view your connections by clicking on the “PARTNERS” tab on the left-hand side menu and viewing the “CONNECTED PARTNERS” page.

   No detailed data is shared with this partner until you define your sharing rules with this person.

3. Invite your partner to connect with you:
   

   Once you have your PartnerTap account you can proactively invite a partner to connect with you. To do this:

   1. Navigate to the “PARTNERS” > “CONNECTED” tab on the left-hand side menu.
   2. On the “CONNECTED PARTNERS” page look for the “INVITE PARTNERS” tile and click “INVITE”.
   3. Set your account and opportunity sharing scope for this partner (these can be pre-set at the org or custom role level by your administrator. For more information on these settings see Define your share settings).
   4. Add your partner’s email address and personalize the message.
   5. Click “SEND”.

Tip: Your partners do not have to be on PartnerTap to receive the invite to connect but to accept they will have to sign up for an account.
